A tiny thought might spark a bigger one might spark a lifestyle change

Two of my passions include writing and sewing, the writing bit began many years ago with an English teacher, Ms Clancy who encouraged me to do better and because of that I went onto University and then into a writing based career.
My love of sewing began as a child and regular visits to Helen, a deaf lady who made beautiful things. She showed me how to do patch work, a gift that I fell back into when I left my business due to what you might call depression. Sewing was a lifeline. It gave me an escape and a purpose in what was a very difficult time.
Both writing and sewing have the power to transform by giving a focus, pleasure and total absorption.
